SPEED BLOG FOR COMEBACK AND ALL THE UPDATES

I guess it has been a while since you’ve seen me pop up in your inbox

HIIIII I’M HAPPY TO BE BACK and thanks for having me:)

Okay let’s try to fit like 6 months of life into a 3 minute read

One change you might notice: my name is different!! I’ve gotten fewer people ask “how do you spell that.” BUTTT this is because I got married!!! I could write a whole blog just on the story leading up to the day and even our wedding day but long story short it was perfect and God is so faithful. Also Dylan is the best husband and I knew I’d love marriage but I didn’t know I’d love it this much.

We got married in North Carolina on September 7th, honeymooned in Costa Rica for a week, then flew straight to Idaho and moved into our apartment. Moving in and making OUR new home home was so special and sweet.

We’ve spent the first (almost 5) months of marriage laughing a lot, cooking meals, working, going on little adventures, working out, hanging with friends/building community, and spending lots of intentional time together!

Oh also one more thing I should mention about these first 5 months of marriage…WE’RE PREGNANT!

This is something I definitely can’t wait to share more on. But long story short again, it feels so fun and right and truly such a gift from God! Carrying life is CRAZY and miraculous and we just know we’re made to raise sons and daughters:)

You might be thinking: okay wow this is all fast, are they ready, too young, or maybe the biggest internal Q we’ve seen in people’s eyes: “Did y’all mean to/we’re you trying” hahah it’s fine if you were thinking it too. Let’s just say, the only “perfect timing” (in what we’ve felt in this) is obedience to the Lord and trusting in His will. Which could be so majorly expanded on and I plan to share more about it in the coming blogs…but I’m being self-controlled because I told y’all this was a speed one.
